Fixed-bed Reactor Internals
YT Process Engineering is capable of providing designs and fabrication for variety of internals used in fixed bed reactors. Wedge Wire Screens are used to retain costly media and to provide uniform and consistent flow along the reactor. Our reactor internals have been widely used in hydrotreaters, desulfurizers, hydrocrackers, molecular sieves, sand filters, gas sweeteners and many absorption systems; Processes supplied for includes Methanol to Olefin (MTO), Ethyl Benzene (EB). Poly-ethylene (PE), Poly-propane (PP), Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (FCC), Olefin Conversion Unit (OCU) and many other.
For support of the media bed while allowing efficient fluid flow through the system, wedge wire screens offer the best solution for their large open area, high structural strength and resistance to slot blinding. Our support grids are available in a variety of framing options and designs. We can provide either single-piece grids or segmented designs for on-site assembly and retrofitting through man-holes. Segmented designs undergo trial assembly before shipment to ensure joints are water tight.
By using state of the art EM hybrid method we offer PX support grid of the highest precision and quality. The wedge wire screen is characterized by smooth surface, high precision slots (0.1±0.03mm). The grid’s internal channel separator are made using laser-cut and the borders are formed with laser-cladding technique, offering high strength and sealing features.
Eliminators can be categorized as plate type and wire mesh type. Plate eliminators are used for FGD (Flue-gas Desulfurization). It has high efficiency in capturing medium and large size droplets, low pressure drop and is easy to wash and maintain.

The outlet collection basket at the bottom of the reactor is used to support the lower catalyst bed, reduce the pressure drop of the bed and improve the distribution of reaction materials. Our company has accumulated rich experience and can design and manufacture export collection baskets with various structures for various processes.
Fouling basket: A basket composed of V-shaped wire mesh tubes, placed on top of the catalyst bed in the upper part of the reactor, and the medium entering the reactor is filtered together with the porcelain ball on the bed. Our company can produce various structures of dirt accumulation baskets, with high strength, high precision and other characteristics.
Gas-liquid distributor: the reaction logistics distributor used in the hydrogenation reactor is roughly divided into two categories: overflow type and suction jet type according to its function; Our company's distribution plate is processed and manufactured with high-precision CNC equipment, which has good sealing and high levelness, which can meet the strict requirements of installation and use.
